Director
Charlie started her career in accountancy in 2007, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012and later completed her Charter Tax Advisor qualification. Charlie completed her accountancy studies at a firm in Tunbridge Wells, and worked on a variety of clients, specialising in Owner Managed Businesses and High Net Worth Individuals. She joined the Charter Tax team in February 2016 and joined the Board in March 2023.
Charlie works predominately in our Corporate department, although also advises a number of Private Clients with business interests and international aspects to their tax affairs. Charlie’s experience enables her to look at both tax planning and consequences for Corporate entities in conjunction with the personal tax implications for Directors and Shareholders. She also has experience with corporate structuring projects, undertaking tax due diligence for prospective purchasers and assisting clients with complex tax enquiries and voluntary disclosures.
As part of the Corporate Team, Charlie helps provide our Outsourced Finance Department function, and assists with all manner of compliance and advisory services.
Outside of work Charlie enjoys training in the gym and visiting Cornwall with her husband and dog, Amber.
