Here’s how to get here from Cranbrook:
Take the A229 Angley Road north out of Cranbrook. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A262 towards Goudhurst. After about five miles you’ll come into the village. As you get to the top of the main street, turn left onto Maypole Lane, and go left again when the road forks almost immediately.
Follow Maypole Lane for about a mile and a half (it will become Bedgebury Road), and turn left at the sign for Forge Farm. The journey should take about 15 minutes. If you come to Rogers Rough Road on your right, turn around – you’ve gone slightly too far.
