Drawing on over 35 years’ experience in private client tax work, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge to his role within Charter Tax.
Jim started his career with the Inland Revenue in 1985, before moving into private practice in 1989 with accountancy firm Brooks Carling. In 1998, he joined tax specialists Chiltern, and for the next ten years formed part of their highly regarded private client team. Prior to joining Saffron Tax Partners LLP in 2011, Jim worked for BDO LLP within their London-based private client operation.
Jim enjoys working with a wide variety of private clients, including company directors, partners, sole traders, non-UK domiciliaries, non-UK residents, and entrepreneurs.
Jim has three children, the youngest still at school. Away from the office he makes good use of his National Trust membership, follows a variety of sports, particularly rugby and the NFL, and likes nothing more than enjoying good food and wine with friends and family.
