Maria joined Charter Tax as part of the Support Team in July 2025. Her role involves assisting the Finance Department with company bookkeeping, as well as supporting the wider team with a range of administrative tasks, including setting up bank payments, billing, corporate debtors, and the day-to-day running of the office.
Maria’s career has always involved administration in some form. She previously spent 14 years in the travel industry as an Administration Manager, before going on to work for a further 12 years as an Office Manager and UK Independent Account Manager.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys walking, running and the occasional trip to the gym, which all help to balance out her busy social life. She enjoys meeting friends for dinner, attending concerts and live music events, and, in the summer, you’ll usually find her at a music festival — probably wearing a sequin or two!
Any downtime she gets is spent in the kitchen cooking up a feast or with her head in a good book.
