DIRECTOR
Chris completed his exams with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2010. Starting his career in industry, he worked for the one of the largest suppliers of fruit and vegetables in the UK for over 6 years, making his way up to management accountant and then financial accountant before moving in to practice.
Working for a large practice based in Tunbridge Wells, Chris had a varied role, including providing assistance to clients with bookkeeping, VAT compliance and the preparation of both management accounts and year-end financial statements. During this time he also became Sage accredited and spent his time training clients on Sage 50 Accounts to enable them then to do their own day to day bookkeeping and VAT returns whilst ensuring they remained compliant.
Chris has been with Charter Tax since 2010 and assists with the running of the corporate department on a day to day basis. Charter Tax has a growing outsourced Finance department and Chris is responsible for a number of clients in this area. In addition he also provides assistance and advice to his clients when making key decisions within their business in order to help them to grow and become as efficient and profitable as possible.
